Born in 1982 in Kintore, bordering the Northern Territory and Western Australia, Justin Corby Tjungurrayi is a distinguished Luritja artist. Inspired by his father, the renowned Papunya artist Lindsay Corby Tjapaltjarri, Justin embarked on his artistic journey at the age of 25. His creative expression revolves around the narrative of the Kanpi Tjukurrpa (Emu Dreaming), intricately rendered in his signature style characterized by vibrant hues and bold forms. Presently residing in Haasts Bluff, situated 230 km west of Alice Springs, Justin collaborates with Ikuntji Artists while also contributing as an assistant teacher.
