Anthony White, 'Golden Door IV,’ Oil and enamel on linen, 122cm x 90.5cm
Lennox St. Gallery is pleased to announce ‘Manifestation’, an exhibition of recent paintings and works on paper by Anthony White. Created in the artist’s Parisian studio, the paintings represent the artist’s response to Sidney Nolan’s 1966 Eureka Stockade Mural, reclaiming the painterly gesture as a form of artistic dissent.
This is Anthony’s third exhibition with our gallery, and his first exhibition since 2016. The artist, who lives and works in France, will be present at the Private Viewing of the exhibition this Saturday, 15 July 2023.
The Private Viewing will take place over two sessions, from 12pm to 2pm, and then from 2pm to 4pm. It is a free event, but registration is essential. Please RSVP to your preferred Private Viewing session via email contact@lennoxst.gallery [link in bio] or on +613 9500 8511.
