The Artist has worked with Master Printer, Silvi Glattauer from Baldessin Press to produce 3 photogravure etchings. Printed on Somerset Satin soft white 300gsm paper, each one of the edition has then been hand-coloured with watercolour and a little sparkle added to the mix to give the image a shimmer when viewed in the flesh. The prints are framed with non-reflective museum glass to ensure perfect viewing of the image at any angle.
Images born from the freedom experienced in the 1970’s by the Boomer Gen, transcending the decades into the cultural aesthetics of Gen Z and into Gen Alpha. This is where highly colourised, saturated Noir lives, reminiscent of modern cinema and great Directors such as David Lynch and the Neon - Noir works of Danish filmmaker Nicolas Winding Refn.
